Marissa Associate Stylist:

Marissa’s journey into hairstyling began during the pandemic when she discovered her passion for hair while cutting her own and helping friends and family. After graduating college in 2022, she took an office job but quickly realized she needed a career that truly inspired her.

Determined to follow her passion, Marissa enrolled in cosmetology school and graduated in April 2024. She joined VaZa Salon in October, excited to bring her creativity to life behind the chair. Marissa specializes in dimensional brunettes, subtle balayage highlights, and curly cuts. She loves making clients feel confident and beautiful while building connections through her artistry.

Outside of the salon, Marissa enjoys spending time with her nieces, nephew, and cat. She loves reading, exploring new cuisines, and painting which are often expressions of creativity that inspire her work. Her journey is a testament to the power of following your passion and finding beauty in every step of the process.
