Karen

Creativity has always been at the heart of who Karen is, and hairstyling has become her favorite way to express it. She began her journey in cosmetology school in 2022, graduating in 2023, and has since dedicated herself to specializing in curly hair care, with a focus on the VaZa Curly Cut technique. In addition, Karen is skilled in balayage highlights and has earned a Masters of Balayage certification. She combines her technical expertise with intuition to create styles that celebrate each client’s unique texture and beauty.

Karen had the privilege of working closely with Amanda during the Masters Associate Program, where she refined her craft and learned to deliver exceptional artistry and service. Her commitment to learning and excellence continues to shape her approach to hairstyling.

Outside of the salon, Karen is an avid painter, finding another outlet to explore creativity through colors and textures. Her passion for painting often inspires her hairstyling, giving her a unique perspective on balance, beauty, and artistry. When she’s not creating, Karen cherishes spending time with her family and her parakeet, who reminds her daily to embrace life’s colorful and joyful moments.
